Solar Energy Systems and Solutions
Pedison Energy designs and produces four series of different types of engineering models of Solar Power Generators. These products are made from top-quality materials using the latest technology. Products in each series can be custom-made to suit the special requirements and other specifications of the customers. These products may be eligible for government tax credit and may be included in specific rebate programmes as part of Government encouragement solar power generation in your country.
The four series of products are:
- PEHSG-A Series - Portable generator for emergency power outages
- PEHSS-B Series - Permanent and non-stop off-grid power generator
- PECSF-C Series - Commercial photovoltaic power generation plants
- PECSF-D Series - Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) generation plants
The Photovoltaic series of products, PEHSG-A, PEHSS-B, PECSF-C, consist of the following four components: Solar Panels, Batteries, Inverters and other electrical components.
Solar Panels
Sourced from trust-worthy producers, the panels are of the best quality available in the solar PV market. Excellent PTC/STC power ratios are combined with flawless real-world performance to ensure reliable power generation for years.
Batteries
Batteries that are designed exclusively for renewable energy applications and made from high quality materials are used so that you can be sure of reliability of the product during power outage for a long time.
Inverter
Inverters have a very important role to play in the efficiency of the solar generator systems. Inverters with a modular system of architecture and of unquestionable quality are used in the system. With these inverters you can customize your battery-based system according to your specific needs.
Electrical Components
All the other electrical components are of the most reliable quality standard available in the market. As the wires may be exposed to the extremes of weather conditions like sun, wind, rain, etc, the wires we use are outdoor-rated for the most rugged use. Pre-crimped cables and battery cables with pre-crimped lugs are also used.
Portable Generators for Emergency Power Outages
This is a USA solar engineering technology that allows you to create and use your own energy to power household appliances during an emergency power outrage. This system is portable and can be set up at any place. This Solar Power System lets you run 3,600 watts of power for all of your normal AC appliances and devices. Plus, each unit acts as an ultra-quiet emergency backup system that monitors your utility company's electric power 24/7 so the back up system knows when to come on and when to turn off again.
- In the event of a power outage, the built-in automatic transfer switch provides backup emergency power and recharges with the power of the sun; no additional transfer switch is required unless using in conjunction with a generator.
- Energy is stored in 4,000 watts of sealed AGM specialized batteries.
- Will run all of your 120V household appliances and devices.
- 3-stage battery charger.
- Charges batteries with solar or utility power or standby generator.
Shipping notes:
This item is overweight and does not qualify for free shipping. The flat rate shipping amount for this item is: $525.00. This item ships via Freight truck and will take approximately 4-6 weeks for delivery from time of order. See below for special freight unloading requirements.
Special Unloading Requirements When Shipping Via Truck Freight or Common Carrier:
This item is shipped via "truck freight" (common carrier or flat-bed, not UPS). The truck must be able to access the place of delivery. Truck freight companies do NOT require their drivers to unload shipments. An additional "Lift Gate" fee will apply if the driver unloads the merchandise. Lift gate service simply means that the freight is lowered to the ground. It is the customer's responsibility to move the product after it has been lowered to the ground. The shipping carrier will call and schedule delivery, at which time, you may request a "Lift Gate" (provided the weight and dimensions of the product fits the criteria for lift gate service) and arrange payment with the carrier for that service. Please inspect all packages upon delivery. Any damages or shortages MUST be noted on the bill of lading at the time of delivery. Notify the carrier and the Company immediately and we will assist you as fully as we can. Please retain a signed copy of the bill of lading for your records.

Permanent and Off-grid Power Generators
PEHSS-B series of power generators are customized off grid home solar systems that are off-grid, permanent, heavier and not portable. Based on your requirement of power, the number of PV panels required can be calculated and accordingly a custom-made generator system can be installed at your home.
Each photovoltaic panel (module) is rated according to its peak electrical output under standard test conditions. For example, a module with a 50 Watt peak rating (50 Wp) will have an output of 50 watts under standard test conditions. Modules are available in sizes from 5 Wp to 200 Wp.
The intensity of the sunlight will reflect in the amount of electricity a PV system generates. Though electricity will be produced on cloudy days, it will be much less than on bright days under direct sunlight. Of course, the photovoltaic cells do not produce power during the night. A well-located photovoltaic panel under direct sunlight will generate between 3 to 5 times the rated power outputs. This means that a 1 kilowatt peak panel can produce up to 5 kilowatt hours per day which will add up to 1750 kilowatt hours per year.
Commercial Photovoltaic Power Generation Plants
These are photovoltaic power generation plants that will supply power to a large number of people who come under a community project or become power purchasing clients of a commercial venture that produces solar power.
In this system, solar radiation is converted into direct current electricity using semiconductors that show photovoltaic effect. Materials presently used for the photovoltaic effect include silicon, cadmium and copper. Many of these cells are combined to form a solar panel. These panels can be used individually or connected together in a solar array, depending on the amount of electricity required. The panels are mounted on a structure and the energy output is controlled by inverters and then fed into an AC grid for its own use or other utilities.
According to the requirement of each project, the number of panels to be used will be determined and they will be positioned to get the maximum of solar radiation as possible. To maximize solar plant capacity, proprietary tracking algorithms are used. Pre-manufactured solar tracking structures are used for maximum installation rate. More and more local administrative setups all over the world
Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) Generation Plants
In this system, various techniques are used to track the sun and focus light on to different type of collectors like the parabolic trough, linear fresnel reflector, solar power tower, etc. These focus a large patch of sunlight into a narrow beam. Conventional power plants use this beam as a source of heat. The heat drives a heat engine, which is mostly a steam turbine. This is connected to an electrical power generator and electrical power is produced. This can be used there and then or transferred to a grid for use by others.
Just as in commercial power plants using photovoltaic panels, the actual requirement of power output decides the number of parabolic troughs to be used in collection of sunlight. The parabolic troughs concentrate the solar radiation onto a receiving tube. A heat-absorbing fluid flows through the receiving tube and gets heated up to very high temperatures. This thermal energy is transferred into steam that drives a turbine to generate electricity.
